Episode 34: Andy Wright -Pro Photographer

A senior photographer at Transworld Snowboarding Magazine as well as staff shooter for countless snowboarding brands since first picking up a camera. Andy has been the most published photographer in the snowboard industry since Transworld started keeping track of those stats. He got his start as a sponsored athlete for Nitro Snowboards and pursued progression for years as a professional athlete before moving into the media, publishing the seminal Medium Megazine with legendary art director Jared Eberhardt.

Episode 31: Mike Bettera – Park Builder

Mike Bettera got his start as a coach in New Hampshire. He quickly changed over to managing the parks at Loon and Waterville, before moving to Tahoe to work at Snowpark Technologies. With Gunny and Jenn moving on, Mike decided to start his own consulting business, handling many of the same responsibilities as his role with Snowpark Tech. And so, Effective Edge was started - consulting with various park’s around the country as well as hosting the annual summit for terrain park builders.

Episode 30: Todd Hahn – Athlete Agent

Todd Hahn got his start in the snowboard industry working as a sales rep. He quickly moved up to team manager ( for the World Industries brand) before becoming an athlete agent, ala Jerry McGuire. While Todd has moved on from being an agent - he now makes wine with business partner Tommy Lee, he has a great perspective on the business of action sports.

Episode 25: Jason Borgstede

In the mid 90’s to early 2000’s, Jason Borgstede was known for his video parts, progressive big air tricks and switch 360 backflip affectionately known as the Borgaerial. Jason was a consistent top finisher in events such as the X Games and Vans Triple Crown. While his pro career came to a some what sudden end, Borgy never stopped riding and these days, he’s working to spread the stoke to a new generation with his Anchorage-based shop Blue & Gold.

Episode 24: Pat Schutte

Mr. Pat Schutte Schutte founded High Profile Public Relations (HPPR) in 2003, enjoyed a solid run of agency success working with a wide range of clients, including Chrysler/Dodge, Jeep, Ford, Monster Beverage, Source Interlink, Clear Channel, Live Nation, Feld Motor Sports, National Promoters Group, Advanstar and Vail Resorts. He also got his start as a skateboarder and snowboarder, prior to fidning incredible success in the world of motorsports public relations.
