Episode 78: Bud Keene – The Coach

This is an interesting interview with a fascinating character from the sport of snowboarding. Bud Keene got his start riding in Vermont in the early ‘80s. He went on to be a sponsored rider for Sims and competed in one of the first Mt. Baker Banked Slaloms. Since riding he went on a number of ‘expedition’ type snowboarding adventures – but what Bud is best known for is coaching. He coached Shaun White for ten years and now currently is the head coach of the Chinese national team.
